Do you know the difference between mini quilt sets, comforter sets, and ensembles? It can get confusing. For shopping with Cabin Creek Bedding the following will explain our bedding products.

Mini Quilt Set - includes 1 quilt and matching sham(s). If it is a Twin set it will have one sham, Full/Queen or King will have two. Many times there are coordinating accessories to accompany the quilt set to help give your bedroom a complete look. Look for valances, shams, dustruffles (or bed skirts) and decorative pillows. Almost all of our quilt sets, unless otherwise noted, are cotton face with polyester fill, and are machine washable. Shown is the Kiera Classic Country Quilt and Sham Set as an example of a mini quilt set.

Comforter Set - the distinction between the comforter set and mini quilt set is the inclusion of a matching dustruffle. This will be a 3 piece set if it is the Twin version and a 4 piece set if a Full/Queen or King. This is like the bed in a bag set frequently found in retail stores. These comforters and pieces, unless otherwise noted in the product description, are usually cotton face and are machine washable. Please be sure to read the care label instructions as some sets are best dry cleaned. The comforter set shown to the left is Cabin Retreat a Blue Ridge Trading Pattern from Kimlor Mills. The Blue Ridge Trading patters are beautiful rustic or cabin style bedding.

Bedding Ensemble - Ensembles include everything you need for your bed, including the comforter, shams, dustruffle and coordinating sheets sets. Twin Ensembles will have One Comforter, matching Sham, Twin size Bedskirt and Twin Sheets, 1 flat, 1 fitted and 1 pillow case. Full/Queen and King sets will have 1 Comforter, matching Shams, appropriate size bed skirt, F/Q or King sheet set including 1 flat , 1 fitted and 2 pillow cases. Each piece is a perfect match to the Comforter and is the perfect way to have a complete look in your room. Please be sure to read the care label for the comforter. Sheets, unless otherwise noted, are 210 TC, 100% cotton.
